About Michon

I believe my clients deserve a safe, comfortable and confidential space to share their story. As your counselor, it is a privilege to provide a place for you to process your hurts and frustrations, where you can journey toward a life of healing and contentment. If you’re looking for someone to talk to who will provide an empathetic ear without judgment, you’ve come to the right place. During our sessions together, I will listen to your concerns, help you identify the issues at hand, and work with you to establish an attainable action plan to accomplish your personal goals.

Testimonials

“Michon has been helpful with reminding me to stay focused on who God says I am. I have had moments where I’ve lost sight of that, but through my sessions with her, I am reminded of scriptures and she has also provided some good resources for my personal growth. I appreciate her listening and sharing truthful insight.”.”

“What a blessing to have someone that has the ability to blend spiritual and clinical theories together in order to develop the right plan of care for you. As a new mom struggling to navigate my identity as a new mom, develop parenting philosophies with my spouse, and adjust to life postpartum, Michon gave me the tools and strategies I need to cope. Thank you for helping me get through such a new time for me in my life. I still use your boundaries and communication strategies today. Thank you!”

C.H.

“Michon is an excellent counselor who can quickly make you feel at ease with a balance of intuition and tools to help spark your growth. Michon took the time in individual sessions as well as couple sessions to help my wife and I with transitioning into our empty nester years. Further, as a Christian counselor, we knew Michon was also praying for us. She guided us to assurance, peace and the path forward.”

M.M. & U.M.

“Mental pain is less dramatic than physical pain, but it is more common and also more hard to bear. The frequent attempt to conceal mental pain increases the burden: it is easier to say ‘My tooth is aching’ than to say ‘My heart is broken.'”

– C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain
